ArmInfo.Former prosecutor of the Kotayk region, Apres Grigoryan, filed a lawsuit against Prosecutor General Anna Vardapetyan due to his dismissal, which "was the result of wiretapping of his telephone conversations." The Zhoghovurd newspaper writes, stating that the RA law enforcement agencies are working under conditions of total wiretapping.
He demands from the Administrative Court to invalidate Vardapetyan's July 13 decision to dismiss him from office.
In July, Vardapetyan fired Grigoryan, as well as Armavir regional prosecutor Ashot Martirosyan. The publication also claims that the security forces in Armenia are working under conditions of total wiretapping, and in conversations, Martirosyan and Grigoryan allegedly criticized Prosecutor General Anna Vardapetyan.
"This internal discussion became a fateful one for the two prosecutors, and chief prosecutor Anna Vardapetyan suspended their powers and launched an internal investigation," the newspaper writes.
