ArmInfo. The situation in Artsakh is critical. Minister of Health of Armenia Anahit Avanesyan announced to journalists during a briefing.
First of all, according to the head of the Ministry of Health, this concerns patients who really need highly specialized treatment, medical intervention.
In this regard, she recalled the illegal abduction of one of the patients by Azerbaijan (Vagif Khachatryan), who, accompanied by the ICRC (International Committee of the Red Cross), was heading from Artsakh to Armenia.
"All work is aimed at the return of Vagif Khachatryan and the delivery of humanitarian cargo from Armenia to Artsakh, so that we can return to normal trade with Artsakh and establish free movement of people," Avanesyan said. She stressed that most of the cargo is represented by baby food, formulas for feeding babies.
"We are in touch with international organizations, we pass on all the facts to them through all possible channels, we describe the situation, we oblige international bodies to resolve the situation within the framework of the existing mandate the day before," the minister said, noting that the ICRC has such a mandate, but their work is paralyzed.
