ArmInfo. There are problems with independence in the judicial system of Armenia. On July 25, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated at a press conference.
He noted that the country's authorities are trying to solve this problem. In particular, the salaries of judges are increased so that they have a higher level of social protection. As the Prime Minister stressed, there are still judges in Armenia, who practice guaranteed justice rather than selective justice. "There are judges who can make whatever decision they want at their whim. For five years, I have become convinced that there are still judges in the country for whom there are no restrictions, they can make decisions that have nothing to do with law, logic or morality," the Prime Minister noted, pointing out the importance of having such mechanisms that prevented the activities of such judges.
