ArmInfo.Former member of the National Assembly of Armenia, public and political figure Naira Zohrabyan sharply criticized the UN bodies and international specialized organizations for their inaction against the backdrop of the unfolding humanitarian catastrophe around Artsakh.
She stated that the stocks of bread are running out in Artsakh and people have been lining up for bread since dawn.
"There have been more than a dozen cases of miscarriages of pregnant women due to malnutrition. This pregnant woman also fainted as a result of malnutrition.
If such a humanitarian catastrophe had happened in an African country, the UN and all international organizations would have broken through any blockade long ago and provided assistance," Zohrabyan said.
Due to the illegal Azerbaijani siege, 120 thousand residents of Artsakh are on the verge of starvation. The civilized international community, in pursuit of energy resources, has forgotten about universal human rights, and about democracy, and international law in general, not noticing the terror perpetrated by Azerbaijan against Artsakh for 8 months.
