The minister noted that she reports on the situation to both the office of the Human Rights Defender and the representation of Armenia in the European Court. Asshe said, this information then becomes the basis for certain sanctions. In addition, the head of the health department sends written appeals and calls to international organizations. When asked how satisfactory the responses received from the latter were, Avanesyan remarked: "The responses are not satisfactory because the road is still closed."
Artsakh has been under Azerbaijani blockade since December 12, 2022. From June 15 this year. Azerbaijan also blocked the movement of the International Committee of the Red Cross, which carried out a humanitarian mission to transport patients from Artsakh to Armenia and supply essentials, including medicines. All this is happening against the backdrop of the inaction of the civilized international community.
