ArmInfo. Artsakh Human Rights Defender Gegham Stepanyan has explained to Toivo Klaar, EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia, the fate of Armenian children in Azerbaijan after the Russian peacekeepers leave Nagorno-Karabakh.
On his Twitter account, Mr Stepanyan presented the results of a poll in Azerbaijan. The respondents were asked what they would do if they saw an Armenian child in Stepanakert after the Russian peacekeepers left Nagorno-Karabakh. 32% of them said they would slap him/her, 25% would make a comment, 22% would "gut" him/her and feed local dogs, 17% would sell the child into slavery, and 4% would cut his/her tongue out.
"Humanitarian aid from Aghdam to Stepanakert? Look at this picture, then speak. You are not honest, you are not even a little bit honest. Azerbaijani society is completely imbued with hatred towards Armenians," Mr Stepanyan tweeted.
Earlier, Mr Klaar advised Artsakh to agree to Azerbaijan's offer to deliver humanitarian aid along the Akna-Stepanakert road.
