ArmInfo. Former French  ambassador to Armenia Jonathan Lacote posted the following message on  his Facebook account: 

"I wish a good Vartavar to all my Armenian friends with this year a  particular thought for those living in Haut-Karabakh, victims of a  blockade for 217 days, deprived of any sustenance for 32 days,  enduring almost daily shooting and living in hunger, worry and  indifference.

"May this Vartavar, in which everyone has the habit of spraying his  neighbor, powerful or miserable be a feast of water, purification and  renewal!

"May a few drops also awaken the sleeping consciences."
