The participants of the nationwide movement for the sake of Artsakh salvation, headed by the State Minister of the Republic of Artsakh Gurgen Nersisyan, marched to the office of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and the place of deployment of the Russian peacekeeping contingent (RPC) to present the real situation in the country and their requests and demands for the lifting of a blockade of Artsakh.
The march was initiated by the State Minister of Artsakh. In particular, he said that residents of the Askeran region were waiting for them at the place of deployment of the RPC. He urged not to politicize the nationwide movement. The gathering in the Renaissance Square will be highly organized and coordinated, which will allow to present the consequences of the humanitarian crisis on an almost daily basis. Declaring that no one will be able to politicize this movement, Nersisyan noted that he will not allow it (the movement) to serve the interests of individuals.
Addressing the Russian Federation, the Russian people and Russian peacekeepers, the state minister emphasized: "In recent years, we have been forced to go through numerous problems, realized a lot, understood numerous processes, and, although it does not sounds arrogant, but often tried to say less, taking on incomparably great difficulties to keep you away from additional problems and poignant situations. But now we are sure that the situation is fatal for you too. Before your eyes, the people of Artsakh went through the most difficult problems, and now these problems have become more acute and profound, which can no longer be ignored>. Nersisyan expressed a request and demand to ensure the security of the people of Artsakh, the implementation of the obligations assumed by the parties in the Trilateral Statement, to open the corridor connecting Artsakh with Armenia, to ensure the uninterrupted movement of people, vehicles and goods, to create conditions for a normal life.
