ArmInfo. State Minister of the Republic of Artsakh Gurgen Nersisyan called on all Armenians to a nationwide movement for the sake of Artsakh salvation. In an open letter, he called on the people of Artsakh to gather tomorrow, July 14, at 9:00 a.m. on Renaissance Square, in order to jointly determine further actions in the face of the impending disaster.
He stressed that the people of Artsakh have no reason to give up or leave Artsakh. <To live in Artsakh is not just a right, but a duty. This is a written and unwritten law, it is an oath and responsibility. So, all of us, as one person, begin a peaceful struggle for the preservation of our existence and the protection of our national rights>, the state minister said.
Noting that after the 44-day war, the people of Artsakh felt the bitterness of loneliness, the state minister also addressed the citizens of Armenia. He urged them not to be silent and to become part of the nationwide movement starting in Artsakh, to raise the issue before the people and authorities of Armenia, international actors represented in Armenia, and push them to practical actions. Nersisyan stressed that Azerbaijan is leading the people of Artsakh to death amid silence and almost inaction of the Republic of Armenia, all Armenians, the guarantor of the tripartite declaration - the Russian Federation and the international community. "We hope that at least this time and in this situation, the nationwide movement, starting in Artsakh, will receive the necessary response in Armenia and the Diaspora," the state minister said. Artsakh has been under a total blockade of Azerbaijan since December 12, 2022, as a result of which it is deprived of gas, electricity and basic necessities. All this is happening against the backdrop of the inaction of the civilized international community.
