Meeting of Armenian, Georgian Premiers held in Batumi

According to the press service of the government of the Republic of Armenia, the leaders of the two countries first had a tˆte-…-tˆte conversation, after which the talks continued in an expanded format.

The prime ministers pointed to the strong historical and cultural ties that unite the two peoples. It was noted that Armenia and Georgia are committed to regional stability and prosperity, seek high-level dialogue on strategic issues, which will give additional impetus to effective cooperation, contributing to regional peace and stability.

The intense contacts that testify to the dynamic development of bilateral relations and the high level of political dialogue were highlighted.

The interlocutors discussed issues on the agenda and prospects of the Armenian-Georgian cooperation, touched upon further steps aimed at the consistent development and expansion of cooperation in various fields. An exchange of views on the situation and events in the region took place.
