ArmInfo. Members of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) are holding a one-day campaign SOS Artsakh in front of the diplomatic missions - OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs (France, the USA and Russia), and EU - calling on them to act instead of speaking.
ARF member Ishkhan Saghatelyan, who is participating in a campaign in front of the EU office in Yerevan, the goal of the pickets is to demand that the OSCE MG co-chair states and the EU reject double standards.
According to Mr Saghatelyan, they are doing nothing but issuing statements and adopting resolutions, while Artsakh remains blockaded. He highlighted a need for discussing the extension of the mission of the Russian peacekeepers in Nagorno-Karabakh.
The ARF members in front of Russia's Embassy in Armenia hold greats expectations of Russia in the context of unblocking of the Lachin corridor as it is Russia that guarantees the implementation of the trilateral statement of November 9, 2020, and has the necessary political, diplomatic and military means its disposal to resolve the situation.
The protesters pointed out a need for sanctions against Azerbaijan to put an end to the ethnic cleansing policy Azerbaijan has been pursuing against Artsakh for several months.
"We are now witnessing the OSCE MG co-chair states and EU strengthening cooperation with Azerbaijan for gas security reasons instead of imposing sanctions against that state," the ARF members said.
