


ArmInfo. The UAE is one of Armenia's key partners, Armenia's Premier Nikol Pashinyan stated in his congratulatory message to President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations.
"The friendly ties of the Armenian and Arab peoples come from the depths of centuries, and today we are proudly witnessing and participating in such a stage in the dynamic development of interstate relations, where progressive prospects are obvious.
"We can state with satisfaction that the joint commission on trade, economic and technical cooperation between the governments of our countries was established in 2019 and is functioning effectively, and the trade turnover between our countries has reached record levels over the past two years.
"Today, the United Arab Emirates is one of Armenia's important partners not only in terms of implementing mutually beneficial projects of regional importance and improving the business environment, but also in terms of deepening the dialogue between civilizations.
"I hope that through joint efforts in the coming years we will be able to saturate the agenda of the Armenian-Emirati bilateral cooperation with new initiatives and programs for the benefit of our states and friendly peoples.
"I take this opportunity to confirm my intention to make personal efforts to strengthen and deepen cooperation between our countries based on respect and mutual trust," the Armenian premier's message reads.
