ArmInfo. Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan referred to the possible threat of CSTO splitting.
Yesterday, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Moscow sees "desperate, aggressive actions by the West to split within ranks of the CSTO member states, as well as within ranks of the BRICS, Shanghai Cooperation Organization, other organizations independent of it, including attempts to resort to unscrupulous methods, to drive wedges into relations between members of the CSTO>.
< Those problems that exist today, at least in relations with us, exist and are publicly open. The problems, as well as the reaction to them, are well known and we spoke about it publicly>, he said on June 21 in an interview with journalists, urging them to draw conclusions about what consequences they would have for the CSTO.
Asked to comment on the spread information that the issue of suspension or freezing of membership in the CSTO was discussed at the meeting of the Security Council of Armenia, Secretary Armen Grigoryan said: "The issues condemned at the meeting of the Security Council are public as much as they can be public. I will not confirm or deny any other question," he said.
