ArmInfo. Artsakh is not receiving medicines, food, including baby food, patients are not receiving treatment. A humanitarian disaster is simmering, Vahe Hovhannisyan of the Alternative Projects group writes.
During a "siege of Leningrad" in the 21st century, Armenia's authorities are not doing anything.
"Why do not the opposition faction demand a special session of Armenia's Parliament? Why do not they call for public pressure on the ruling authorities. Why does not Armenia's Parliament appeal to the world"s parliaments? Why no international pressure on Azerbaijan? Why do not Armenians sent more inquiries to Russia through all the channels, including the opposition? Russian must realize that after Artsakh has been sacrificed no pro-Russian or loyal public sentiments can be expected in Armenia," the expert wrote.
"Why not record non-government structures have no leaders any longer? Why not form new leadership that would raise Armenian society and bring people out of restaurants in defense of 120,000 Armenians threatened with starvation and annihilation? Why no competent plan of action has been proposed in Artsakh? I myself sent a comprehensive plan of action regarding the removal of blockade to the then state minister of Artsakh. Many people have their own ideas, which just require attention and help in realization," Mr Hovhannisyan stressed.
He has the impression that "someone knows something in the government and in the opposition ranks, in Artsakh, in the Diaspora, in Moscow, in Washington. Eventually, it may turn out that 'no one knew anything' and the process let took its own course," Mr Hovhannisyan wrote.
