Some of MEPs more "pro-Armenian" than Armenia`s premier

ArmInfo.Some of the MEPs are more "pro-Armenian" than Armenia's Premier Nikol Pashinyan, Armen  Ashotyan, Vice-Chairman of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), wrote on his Facebook account. 

According to him, this all-important issue - Nagorno-Karabakh's  status - was sidelined at the session with the participation of the  Josep Borrell, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and  Security Policy. In fact, it is MEPs who are raising the issue of  Nagorno-Karabakh's status despite the fact that Armenia's authorities  forgot all about not only the "right to self-determination" but also  the term "status." 

"But what is Josep Borrell's answer? He refers to Nikol Pashinyan,  who stated Armenia recognized Nagorno-Karabakh part of Azerbaijan and  its status is out of the question. Discussions are in progress on the  so-called mystical rights of the Nagorno-Karabakh people. It is a  disgrace," Mr Ashotyan wrote. 

In other words, some of the MEPs are more "pro-Armenian" than  Armenia's Premier Nikol Pashinyan. 

"European officials, as well as Azerbaijani ones, are citing Nikol  Pashinyan's words to neutralize the claims in Armenia's interests. It  is not at all new for the EU. Similar situations can be observed in  both Russia and the United States. And the mouths that are allegedly  expressing the Armenian people's interests are protecting the  premier. Just try to find a single phrase about Nagorno-Karabakh's  status on the Armenian Parliament's agenda," Mr Ashotyan writes.
