ArmInfo.Only 3.8% of the Armenian population is not averse to seeing Artsakh as part of Azerbaijan. This is evidenced by the results of the "My rating is not a hindrance to your rating" Survey, conducted by the MPG consulting company (Marketing Professional Group - the exclusive representative of the International Association GALLUP in Armenia).
In particular, to the question "how do you assess the statement of the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan on the recognition of the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan in 86600 sq. km, which includes Nagorno-Karabakh", 3.8% of respondents answered "very positively", 5,4% of respondents consider such a statement rather positive, 18.5% rather negative. 63.4% of respondents strongly disagree with the Prime Minister. 8.9% of respondents found it difficult to answer.
At the same time, 77.7% of respondents consider it impossible for the Armenian population of Nagorno- Karabakh to co-exist as a national minority within Azerbaijan, while only 2.8% of respondents consider it possible, and 8.7% of respondents consider it rather impossible. 5.1% of respondents - found it difficult to answer.
Interestingly, in early January, the number of citizens positively assessing the role of the EU civil mission along the Armenian border exceeded the current figures. In particular, if in January 36.8% of respondents noted that they fully positively evaluate the EU mission, in May their number dropped to 14.8%. In January, 14% of respondents were extremely negative about the mission, and already in May they became 29.9%.
At the same time, 32.8% of respondents are of the opinion that Nikol Pashinyan is pursuing a balanced policy with the Russian Federation and the West, 20.5% of respondents believe that the prime minister is trying to integrate into the EU, NATO, 14.7% of respondents see a similar trend in relation to Turkey and Azerbaijan, 12.9% of respondents are sure that Pashinyan is trying to oust the Russian presence from Armenia, 19% of respondents - found it difficult to answer.
Taking into account external and internal challenges, 41% of respondents believe that it is necessary to hold early elections and form a new government, 18.9% of respondents - noted that is rather necessary to hold them. And only 12.2% of respondents believe that most likely there is no need to hold them, and 19.5% of respondents do not find it expedient to form a new government at all.
The survey was conducted through telephone calls to residents of Armenia during the period from May 27-31 of this year. The sample size was 1100, the sampling error was +/- 3%.
