ArmInfo. On June 5, the Court of General Jurisdiction of the city of Yerevan, chaired by Manvel Shahverdyan, canceled the earlier decision of the Court of Appeal on changing the preventive measure against Gayane Martirosyan, the mother of a soldier killed in the 44-day war, costody to house arrest. She is accused of kidnapping the son of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Ashot.
The court decided to arrest Gayane Martirosyan for a period of 1 month and 15 days.
It is noteworthy that during the trial, the son of the Armenian prime minister considered the measure of restraint in the form of house arrest to be "mild", stating that he qualifies her act as a "serious crime."
It is also curious that today, in a conversation with reporters, Ashot Pashinyan admitted that he himself without coercion got into Gayane Martirosyan's car. At the same time, he assured that his kidnapping began at the moment when he could not leave the car in which he got into, since Martirosyan did not allow him.
