ArmInfo. At his press conference on May 22, the person holding the post of Armenia's premier recognized Artsakh and the former enclaves in Tavush and Ararat as part of Azerbaijan, which is one more manifestation of a consistent antinational policy, reads a statement by the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF).
"Armenia's incumbent government, hand in hand with the Turkish-Azerbaijani alliance, is consistently seeking to break the spirit of out people, leading the country to an eventual downfall. The course of defeats, losses and humiliation is entering a new phase. Each day and hour of this government poses an existential threat," the ARF Bureau states. However, the ARF believes that the situation can be remedied with combined efforts of national forces aimed at restoring the Armenia-Artsakh-Diaspora triunity.
"A strong, just and dignified Armenia is a guarantee of our security. However, the fundamental and immediate necessity is to prevent further capitulatory agreements without people's immediate participation. Any actions by any Armenian government questioning the results of the referendum in Artsakh, Armenia's Constitution and Declaration of Independence, which is an integral part of the Constitution, is nothing from the very first," the ARF Bureau states.
The ARF is not going to put up with coerced agreements in conflict with the Armenian people's interests. "All the Armenian patriots have to do something in this respect. We believe we can change the course of history together," the statement reads.
At his press conference on May 22, Armenia's Premier Nikol Pashinyan spoke of the transfer of "enclaves" in Tavush and Ararat to Azerbaijan, which will cut Armenia off from the strategically important transport links with Iran and Georgia.
