The Armenian premier's statement of May 22 shook Armenian statehood, particularly was in violation of the commitment to defend the rights of all Armenians.
"Our forefathers' centuries-long struggle, which proved the basis for Artsakh's national liberation struggle, gave rise to a new quality of national dignity, and no one has the right trample on it regardless of their positions.
"No one has the moral right to decide our and our children's future. Artsakh has not accepted nor will it ever accept the approaches presented by Armenia's premier today. And just as Artsakh people struggled in the past, now, using all the means at its disposal, it will struggle for its right to live a life of dignity in their Homeland.
"We believe that, just as it was in the previous years, now all the Armenians will be side by side with the Artsakh people," the statement reads.
