RA MFA: Weapons purchased from Russia did not actually arrive in  Armenia

ArmInfo.Armenia is negotiating the development of mechanisms for international guarantees on the  security and rights of the people of Nagorno-Karabakh. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Mnatsakan Safaryan stated this to journalists on May 16, answering the question  of whether Yerevan recognizes Artsakh as part of the territory of Azerbaijan.

According to the Deputy Minister, negotiations are still ongoing,  about which the country's public is periodically notified.

Earlier, head of the European Council Charles Michel said that the  leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan Nikol Pashinyan and Ilham Aliyev  confirmed respect for each other's territorial integrity of 86.6  thousand sq. km of Azerbaijan and 29.8 thousand sq. km of Armenia.

When asked by journalists whether this means that Yerevan recognizes  Artsakh as part of Azerbaijan, the Deputy Minister urged not to  oblige him to give a positive or negative answer.
