
ArmInfo. On May 10, RA Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan received the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway to the Republic of Armenia Helene Sand Andresen in connection with the completion of her diplomatic mission. This was reported by the press service of the RA MFA.
The interlocutors touched upon issues related to regional security and stability. Ararat Mirzoyan presented the latest developments in the process of normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the vision of the Armenian side on the fundamental issues of negotiations. The Foreign Minister pointed to the constructive participation of the Armenian side and stressed the importance of Azerbaijan putting an end to its extremist aspirations, the policy of using force against the Republic of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh, as well as resolving issues of the rights and security of Armenians in Nagorno-Karabakh among other issues.
Issues on the agenda of bilateral relations between Armenia and Norway were discussed at the meeting, and the positive dynamics of the political dialogue on both sides was noted. The importance of further deepening interaction based on common values and democratic principles and using the existing potential in expanding economic cooperation was emphasized. The Foreign Minister noted that he highly appreciates the Ambassador's contribution to the development of bilateral relations and wished her success in her future diplomatic work.
