Pro-Kurdish People`s Democratic Party of Turkey: Countering crimes  against humanity is important step to build common and equitable  future and social peace

ArmInfo.For a common future, it is necessary to face historical truth, ask for forgiveness from  suffering peoples, appeal to restorative justice, understand each other, sincerely heal historical wounds. This is stated in the statement of the opposition pro- Kurdish People's Democratic Party of Turkey (HDP) on the occasion of the 108th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.

< 108 years have passed since the Great Catastrophe (Metz Yeghern),  which was an ethnic & religious genocide perpetrated against  Armenians. Other Christian peoples of our region also became targets  of these practices. We mourn & honor those who lost their lives  during that period.," the HDP said in a statement.  The party also  notes that countering crimes against humanity is an important step  towards building a common and equal future and social peace. The  message also emphasizes the importance of a peaceful life with one of  the most ancient peoples of the world - with the Armenian people. At  the same time, the development of diplomatic, trade, economic and  cultural relations with the state of Armenia, which is part of the  region, proceeds from the interests and needs.
