In order to ensure the safety of participants in the torchlight march on the occasion of the 108th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, on April 23, from 7:15pm, traffic will be restricted on Yerevan's several streets. In particular, the source notes, traffic will be partially prohibited on Republic Square, Amiryan Street, Mashtots and Baghramyan Avenues and Kievyan Street.
In order to ensure the safety of the participants of the commemoration ceremony, which will be held on April 24 at the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex, on April 24, from 06:00am, traffic will be prohibited from Leningradyan Street in the direction of the Complex, from the intersection of Isakov and Atenka Streets in the direction of Atenk Street. In addition, on the same day, from 8:30am to 11:00pm, in order to ensure the safety of participants in the official ceremony, the entrance to the complex will be closed. At the same time, according to the Yerevan Municipality, on April 24, from 08:30am to 10:00pm, free transportation of visitors to the Memorial of the victims of the Genocide in Tsitsernakaberd will be organized along two routes. In particular, route No1 will run from the Hrazdan stadium to Atenk street, then to the Victory Bridge - Italy - Khorenatsi - Agatangeghos streets - Zoravar Andranik metro station. In the opposite direction, the route will run from Agatangeghos street and further to Lusavorich - Argishti streets - Haghtanak bridge - Atenk street - Hrazdan stadium, Route No2 will run from the Hrazdan stadium and further to Tsitsernakaberdi streets - Leningradyan street - Kievyan streets - Berekamutyun metro station.
