ArmInfo. Thursday's meeting of Armenia's Cabinet opened with a minute's silence in memory of the Armenian servicemen killed as a result of Azerbaijani provocation near the village of Tegh, Syunik region.
"Four Armenian servicemen were killed while selflessly defending Armenia's sovereign territory. Let us observe a minute's silence in memory of the killed," Armenia's Premier Nikol Pashinyan stated as he opened the meeting.
The Armenian side's efforts to deploy frontier troops along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, near the village of Tegh, Syunik province, unfortunately caused a provocation.
"Azerbaijan's provocations are in conflict with the statements issued at the Prague meeting on October 6, 2022, and at the Sochi meeting on October 31, 2022," Mr Pashinyan said.
The situation required a thorough investigation to assess measures to protect the border section in question, he said.
