ArmInfo. The vast majority of respondents in Armenia believe that the current authorities of the Republic of Armenia are not able to conclude a peace treaty with Azerbaijan on acceptable terms that meet the interests of the Republic of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh.
This position is shared by 59.9% of the respondents. This is evidenced by the results of the survey: "A conventional war" conducted by the MPG consulting company (Marketing Professional Group - the exclusive representative of the International Association GALLUP in Armenia).
When asked to comment on this issue, only 12% of respondents said that the current authorities are able to conclude such an agreement, 17.1% believe that they are rather capable, 21.9% are rather incapable, 38% are sure that they are incapable, 11% found it difficult to answer. At the same time, in January of this year, 10.6% were confident in the ability of the current authorities to conclude such an agreement, 19.8% - rather capable, 16.9% - are rather incapable, 40.3% - are incapable, another 12.5% found it difficult to answer. At the same time, 36.3% of the respondents alone consider the Azerbaijani authorities to be guilty of blocking the Berdzor corridor (in January there were 42.5% of them), 8.2% of respondents consider the Russian authorities to be guilty of this (30.2% - in January), 28.1% (29%) -Armenian authorities, 19.1% (17.2%) Turkish authorities, 12.3% (12%) Russian peacekeepers , 7.5% (9.8%) - all states , 7.3% (8.3%)- Artsakh authorities, 1.7% found it difficult to answer, another 1.4% gave a different answer. At the same time, 68.4% of respondents positively assessed the deployment of the EU monitoring mission in Armenia, 27.7% - negatively, 3.8% found it difficult to answer.
It should be noted that the survey was conducted through telephone calls to residents of Armenia from March 23 to March 27, 2023. The sample size was 1100, the sampling error was +/- 3%.
