ArmInfo. Armenia's ruling party has repeatedly offered the opposition forces to get acquainted with the details of the negotiations with Azerbaijan, but has not to date received an answer, Artur Hovhannisyan, Secretary of the dominant parliamentary faction Civil Contract, told a briefing, on March 23.
The opposition forces refused to be informed as being informed means being responsible, he said.
"I think that by refusing working discussions the opposition forces are evading responsibility," Mr Hovhannisyan said.
The parliamentary opposition has all the instruments at its disposal to get the information of the negotiation process, including by applying to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and participating in the question hour.
As to the opposition forces' application to the Security Council two months ago, with no response received so far, Mr Hovhannisyan said the government has not obstructed in any way and advised the opposition to turn to the Security Council.
