ArmInfo. The Armenian authorities do not take practical steps to solve the problems of 120,000 residents of Artsakh. On March 22, Kristine Vardanyan, MP from the "Armenia" opposition faction, told reporters.
According to her, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan pointed out the genocidal nature of Azerbaijan's actions on various platforms, but he did not take concrete steps to protect the interests of the people of Artsakh. <Today, Russian servicemen were wounded on the borders of Armenia, who were trying to return the Armenian serviceman. Against this background, there are accusations from the authorities against all. But the question arises: if the culprits of this whole situation are the allies, the former authorities, and others, then why are these authorities needed? To receive bonuses?>, the parliamentarian asked.
She stressed that the government is obliged to apply all available tools. <If 10 people block the road, they will be detained on charges of obstructing free movement. And what should 120,000 residents of Artsakh think, who have Armenian passports in their hands, and who have been in blockade for 101 days>, the MP asked.
It should be noted that today a rally in defense of Artsakh, organized by the youth wing of the ARF- Dashnaktsutyun party, is taking place in front of the RA government. In this regard, Vardanyan noted that actions aimed at unblocking Artsakh are being held all over the world these days. The MP linked the presence of parliamentarians at this action with the possibility of using disproportionate force by law enforcement agencies against the protesters. "With our presence we want to prevent such a developments so that the youth can convey their protest to the authorities," the MP stressed.
