Ruling "Civil Contract" party decided on candidate for post of  Armenian Human Rights Defender

ArmInfo. The ruling "Civil Contract" party has decided on a candidate for the post of Human Rights Defender of Armenia. According to the head of the faction Hayk  Konjoryan, the "Civil Contract" will nominate Anahit Manasyan for the  position of Human Rights Defender, who currently holds the position  of Deputy Prosecutor General of Armenia.

"We believe that Anahit Manasyan is the candidate who can become a  Human Rights Defenderwith her professional capabilities, value  system, and experience," the parliamentarian noted.

Former  Human Rights Defender of Armenia Kristine Grigoryan filed a  letter of resignation in January 2023 in connection with the transfer  to another job.
