ArmInfo. Yerevan will soon present its comments to Baku's next proposals for a peace treaty, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said on March 16 at a government meeting.
Pashinyan noted that the Armenian side received new proposals from the Azerbaijani side on a peace treaty. Thus, the 4th stage of discussions of the draft document has started.
"We will discuss and present our observations shortly. We are committed to the peace agenda and will not deviate from it," Pashinyan said.
At the same time, as the prime minister pointed out, he should draw the attention of the international community to the fact that, contrary to paragraph 8 of the tripartite statement of November 9, 2020, Azerbaijan has not yet returned the Armenian prisoners of war, detainees and other persons. It also keeps under occupation the sovereign territories of Armenia, captured as a result of aggression in 1994, 2021, 2022.
