ArmInfo.The 2023-2027 plan of RA Armed Forces development has been approved, Armenia's Minister of Defense Suren Papikyan stated at a meeting of the Standing Committee on Defense and Security, RA Parliament, on March 15.
The development plan provides for arms and ammunition supplies to the Armed Forces. The development of Armenia's military doctrine will be started after the national security strategy has been approved.
Minister Papikyan highlighted the work to improve the mechanisms of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) as well as a number of documents signed with Russia and awaiting ratification.
Last year, Armenia approved an agreement on the Planning and Review Process with NATO, which will enable the country to develop cooperation with NATO member-states. Armenia also has agreements with Georgia, Greece, Poland and Lithuania
