ArmInfo.The main topic of yesterday's phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin was the danger of escalation in Nagorno-Karabakh.  RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced on March 14 at a press conference, commenting on Moscow's attitude towards Baku's idea of integrating Nagorno-Karabakh with Azerbaijan.

"I do not consider it correct to voice their position on this issue,  since Russia itself has repeatedly voiced its own position," the  prime minister said.

According to him, he conveyed to the Russian leader the information  he had, impressions and opinion that there are problems in the zone  of responsibility of the Russian peacekeepers. <The most important  issue for me in this context is that a very surprising thing happened  in Nagorno Karabakh, when the residents of Nagorno Karabakh protested  outside the Russian peacekeeping contingent's headquarters And this  happened after the killings of the police officers (3 NKR police  officers were killed as a result of the terrorist actions of the  Azerbaijani side, ed. note) , which also happened in the zone of  responsibility of Russian peacekeepers. This worries me and I  considered it important to convey my concern to the President of the  Russian Federation>, the prime minister said.

At the request of the journalist to voice the answer of Vladimir  Putin, the head of government replied that he did not consider it  correct. "If they consider it important, then our Russian partners  will publish  it," Pashinyan concluded.

Yesterday the administration of the President of Azerbaijan "invited  representatives of the Armenian community of Karabakh to the second  meeting to continue contacts on reintegration, as well as to discuss  the implementation of infrastructure projects in Karabakh." In an  official statement released by the administration of President Ilham  Aliyev, the Azerbaijani side does not specify why Baku was chosen as  the venue for the meeting. In response, the Artsakh Foreign Ministry  stated that the Republic of Artsakh adheres to the previously  expressed position that "such meetings can be held with the mediation  of the Russian Peacekeeping Contingent, in the same venue as on 1  March 2023, to discuss humanitarian, infrastructural and technical  issues, without undue politicisation." At the same time, the factions  of the National Assembly of Karabakh demanded that the Armenian  authorities remain faithful to the decision of the RA Supreme Council  of 1992 of July 8, without calling into question the right of the  people of Karabakh to self-determination. "All factions of the  Artsakh Parliament confirm their loyalty to the fundamental documents  expressing the will of our people, and will continue to be guided by  the ideas and principles arising from them", they said.
