ArmInfo. Artsakh State Minister Gurgen Nersisyan hosted members of the Russian community in Nagorno-Karabakh led by Alexander Bordov.
He pointed out centuries-old Armenian-Russian relations and a need for efforts to raise the quality of bilateral cultural ties.
"I would like to note that the Russian community has lately demonstrated high-level organization and I am grateful to the persons who contributed to this important process. To make the Russian language more popular and make cultural life more active I am ready to maintain open contacts with you," Mr Nersisyan said. The side discussed a wide range of issues related to social, educational, cultural and spiritual life, further cooperation in implementing joint programmes.
"Such meetings allow us to raise problems and find solutions. We should also realize that it is only by supporting each other that we can make our domestic social life more secure," Mr Nersisyan said.
