ArmInfo.Artak Beglaryan, Advisor to State Minister of Artsakh, is critical of Toivo Klaar, EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia.
"My mistrust/doubts to Toivo Klaar get deeper due to his reactions to Azerbaijani crimes. He is either: Amateur diplomat, Under Az brainwashing, Corrupt official, With deviated perceptions of European values, interests & human rights. All four options require changes," Mr Beglaryan wrote in a Twitter post.
In his earlier Twitter post, Mr Klaar wrote:
"Back in Baku. Look forward to substantive meetings with Azerbaijani leadership to advance peace process after meetings in Munich. The deadly incident today underscores the urgency of pushing forward with negotiations to achieve stability & a fair peace."
The Artsakh Information Center released footage of the incident showing how the Azerbaijani group approached that road and the police vehicles, which was en route to Stepanakert.
After killing the police officers, the Azerbaijani troops retreat to their positions, incurring losses.
The video then shows Russian peacekeepers arriving at the site of the incident. The Azerbaijani side then retrieves the bodies of its soldiers with the mediation of the Russian side.
The killed officers were identified as Armen Babayan, David Danielyan and Ararat Gasparyan.
Another office, David Hovsepyan, received a gunshot wound in the chest and was taken to the Republican Medical Center.
"We are extending our deep condolences to the relatives of our three killed fellow-countrymen," reads a message by the Artsakh InfoCenter.
