ArmInfo. Armenia and Russia will cooperate in information security. The Standing Committee on Defense and Security, Parliament of Armenia, has approved the government-submitted bilateral agreement.
Armenia's Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry Gevorg Mantashyan said that the agreement is aimed at promoting Armenian-Russian cooperation in information security.
As in response to a question by a member of the dominant parliamentary faction Civil Contract as to how the agreement can be brought to conformity with the international conventions the Russian Duma recently denounced, Mr Mantashyan said that it is an agreement on bilateral cooperation.
The agreement was signed by the Secretaries of the Security Councils of Armenia and Russia, Armen Grigoryan and Nikolay Patrushev.
