ArmInfo. "The struggle must continue and become a slogan for all areas of our life," reads a statement by the Artsakh Parliament on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the Karabakh movement.
Over the last 35 years the Artsakh people has experienced many trials. And Azerbaijan is now trying to break the Artsakh Armenians' will.
In its statement, the Artsakh Parliament is calling on international agencies and U.N. member-states, particularly the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing countries, to take practical steps - political- economic and military - to prevent Azerbaijan's policy of ethnic cleansing and genocide.
The Artsakh Parliament also calls on the Armenian Diaspora and Armenia to mobilize their potential to defend the Armenians' rights to life and take necessary steps to curb Azerbaijan's aggressive steps.
"The National Assembly of the Republic of Artsakh, as a collective body representing the people, is committed to the fundamental human rights and, guided by the U.S. Charter, is determined to exercise the people's will to live a free and independent life in their historical homeland," reads the statement.
