ArmInfo. In this hard times, fueling domestic political shocks in society has an even worse effect on the Artsakh people than the blockade with all its grave consequences, Tigran Abrahamyan, a member of the opposition parliamentary faction
With Honor, wrote in a Facebook post as he commented on the Artsakh authorities' initiative to carry out constitutional reforms. "According to the decree of the President of Artsakh, the process of amending the Constitution has begun regarding the election of the President by the National Assembly and the specifics in case of dismissal of the President of the Republic during martial law. The fact that legislative solutions must also be found for force majeure situations in Artsakh is more than obvious, since the situation dictates this," the MP wrote.
He recalled that recently this topic has become an occasion for regular discussions, but then it was frozen. "The problematic side of the situation is that the process was launched in the conditions of unhealthy internal political relations and the lack of mutual trust in Artsakh. Such initiatives must have a strong political consensus and be fully understood by the public. In the absence of the above factors, the process is considered in the context of domestic political intrigues, pressure from outside and unpredictable situations," Mr Abrahamyan believes.
