ArmInfo. The settlement of the conflict around Nagorno- Karabakh should be based on an agreement signed by the leaders of Azerbaijan, Armenia and Russia. This was announced on February 13 during a meeting of Chair of Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan, Sagiba Gafarova, and speaker of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Vyacheslav Volodin, whose words are quoted by the press service of the State Duma.
Volodin warned the European bodies, in particular the European Parliament and the PACE, about trying to get involved in the settlement of the situation, reminding what their activities in Ukraine have led to.
<Let's proceed from the fact that there is a decision taken at the level of heads of state - Azerbaijan, Armenia and the Russian Federation. We will be guided by this and, for our part, will do everything possible to ensure that these agreements are implemented," said Viacheslav Volodin. "And those who make statements by appealing to European intiyutions can simply lose the country".
<Before turning to the European Parliament and involving this body in the solution of some issues, it is necessary to answer whether any acute issue or conflict situation has ever been resolved with the participation of the European Parliament, PACE? There is no such example, said the Chairman of the State Duma. " Look at what happened in Ukraine, what statements were made by German Chancellor Merkel and then French President Hollande. As it turned out now, they fooled the whole world, lied, meanwhile they themselves were preparing for war>.
<Where is Ukraine now? Today, Ukrainians are expendable material, a country that is simply stuffed with weapons. A huge number of people are dying, statehood is lost, culture is lost, religion is trampled, the church is disunited, the language is proposed to be English - interethnic communication. The result is a colony of the United States of America>, said Vyacheslav Volodin. < Just like in the case of Yugoslavia under the guise of goodwill and a desire to help, the US did everything to destroy Yugoslavia. By the way, when peaceful Belgrade was bombed, no European Parliament or PACE intervened in this situation>, reminded the Chairman of the State Duma. "Therefore, wanting to involve the European Parliament and PACE, they should think 10 times and weigh how it could end, using the example of Ukraine, Yugoslavia, and other countries. Anyone who wants peace, who wants to resolve the situation, must not only stay away from these quasi-parliaments - both PACE and the European Parliament - but clearly understand that their involvement will aggravate the situation, create more and more problems. And if they do this, then they must bear responsibility for the consequences>, Viacheslav Volodin emphasized.
