ArmInfo. The women of Artsakh addressed an open letter to President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen. State Minister of Artsakh Ruben Vardanyan announced this on his Facebook page.
He noted that in the letter the women of Artsakh called for immediate intervention and an end to the energy blockade of Artsakh. In this regard, the state minister stressed that Mrs. Ursula von der Leyen is responsible for signing an agreement on increasing gas supplies to the EU from Azerbaijan.
Vardanyan said that mothers demand that their children, like the children of the EU countries, have the opportunity to live in warm and bright houses, eat normally, attend school and kindergartens, and receive medical care.
"Children of Artsakh have the right to a normal life, like all children in the world. By cutting off the gas and electricity supply in Artsakh in the winter, Azerbaijan and its leadership are depriving 30,000 children of this right.
In the conditions of the created crisis, women show their determination and strength. They are our heroines and fighters for justice.
I welcome the initiative of our women and support them, I admire their courage and resilience. Anyone who is in a position to help them should do so. In the name of life, children, future, Artsakh," Vardanyan wrote.
