ArmInfo. The real target of Azerbaijan's false environmental agenda is the Artsakh population in captivity, Nazeli Baghdasaryan, Governor of Shirak, Armenia, wrote in a Facebook post.
Even the harshest international response is incapable of sobering up the dictator-leaders.
Recalling that the only lifeline between Armenia and Artsakh has been blocked for 44 days, Ms Baghdasaryan stressed that, despite Azerbaijan's claims, the world has been shown that country's real aims, results of the government-sponsored anti-Armenian propaganda.
"The actions over the last month and a half are a logical follow-up to the rhetoric of hatred and threats against civilian population. The humanitarian disaster resulting from the blockade of the Lachin corridor is the style of Azerbaijan's politico-military elite," Ms Baghdasaryan wrote.
Azerbaijan recently disrupted gas supply to Artsakh. "The civilian population is deprived of heating, electricity, food and medical services. People cannot move freely and children's rights are being violated, which is a gross violation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. In the 21st century, Azerbaijan, which has caused a humanitarian disaster by means of a genocidal blockade, has the only ultimate goal, namely, population's exodus from Artsakh," Ms Baghdasaryan wrote.
