


ArmInfo. Armenia's minister and vice-ministers of the interior will be appointed next week, Armenia's Premier Nikol Pashinyan stated at a Cabinet meeting on Thursday.
Armenia's Minister of Justice Grigor Minasyan stated that Armenia's Police, Migration and Citizenship Service and the Education Center of the RA Police will be subordinate to the new ministry.
The ministry staff will be formed step by step, with the Ministry of Emergency Situations to continue functioning for another four months.
The Ministry of the Interior will be in charge of the policy in the field. Two vice-ministers with civilian status will perform this function. Chiefs of police and of the rescue service will be appointed as two other vice-ministers.
The Migration Service and the Passport & Visa Service will be combined into the Migration and Citizenship Service with civilian status.
A certification process for policemen and rescuers will soon be launched, with salaries to be raised for those who pass successfully.
