The command of the Russian peacekeepers continues the negotiation process with the Armenian and Azerbaijani sides on the resumption of unimpeded traffic on the STEPANAKERT - GORIS road. Patrols were carried out along three routes in the Martakert, Martuni regions and the Lachin corridor. In total, since November 23, 2020, engineer and sapper groups of the Russian peacekeeping contingent have cleared from unexploded mines and shells 2,504.1 hectares of territory, 689.5 km of roads, 1,940 buildings, 26,762 explosive objects have been found and defused. To ensure the safety of Russian peacekeepers and prevent possible incidents, continuous interaction is maintained with the general staffs of the armed forces of Azerbaijan and Armenia," the message says.
