International community responding to Azerbaijan`s actions 

ArmInfo.Azerbaijan-imposed blockade of the Lachin corridor has evoked an international reaction.  

"The Lachin Corridor must be re-opened immediately - the closure has  the potential to cause a significant humanitarian crisis. This  corridor is an essential route for the flow of much needed food and  medical supplies that must be allowed to flow freely", reads a tweet  by USAID Administrator Samantha Power. 

"We are following the concerning tensions surrounding the Lachin  corridor. We call for taking into account possible severe  humanitarian consequences. The resolution of the situation needs to  be achieved through dialogue," reads a tweet by the Polish OSCE  Chairmanship. 

"The Netherlands is closely following the situation in the Lachin  corridor. We call on Azerbaijan to ensure freedom and security of  movement, and encourage Armenia and Azerbaijan to restart peace  negotiations as soon as possible," reads a tweet by the Foreign  Ministry of the Netherlands. 

China hopes that Armenia and Azerbaijan will jointly maintain  regional peace and stability through dialogue, Chinese Foreign  Ministry Spokesperson Wang Wenbin stated in commenting on the  situation around the Lachin Corridor blockaded by Azerbaijan.

"We hope that the respective countries will intensify their dialogue  and jointly maintain regional peace, stability and peaceful life of  citizens," he said.
