


ArmInfo.Armenian FM Ararat Mirzoyan held a meeting with U.N. Secretary General Antonio Guterres in New York, on Wednesday, an official report reads.
Mr Mirzoyan briefed Mr Guterres on the latest developments in the region, particularly on the Azerbaijani blockade of the Lachin Corridor, disruption of gas supply to Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), and the resultant humanitarian challenges. Armenia's FM stressed a need for a targeted international response to the situation.
Mr Mirzoyan also elaborated on the ongoing Azerbaijani occupation of Armenia's sovereign territories, rapprochement between the two nations and Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement.
He stressed Azerbaijan continues its policy of force or threat of force, militant rhetoric and anti-Armenian sentiments thereby undermining stability and security in the South Caucasus. Mr Mirzoyan reaffirmed Armenia's commitment to regional peace and stability.
