ArmInfo. Artsakh has been and will remain Armenian, Artak Beglaryan, Advisor to the Artsakh State Minister, wrote in a Facebook post as he summed up the results of the sit-in front of the U.N. Armenia Office.
"About a thousand citizens, including public and political figures came to the sit-in site outside the U.N. Armenia Office to express their support for Artsakh. And we, about 20 people, are spending the night here following the important principle: if our fellow countrymen are freezing in Artsakh, we, too, must not feel warn at night. Thanks to all the participants and those caring about us. Many people are asking how they can help Artsakh. I can give a brief list of, as I think, the steps each Armenian must make within the coming days:
1. By means of actions of civil disobedience demand targeted statements and practical actions by the international community, specially by the UN, EU and five states - the USA, Russia, France, Great Britain and China - to ensure the removal of blockade of Artsakh and prevent further crimes. 2. Addressing Artsakh's importance and needs in all social media posts, telling about Artsakh wherever possible by means of creative decisions aimed at both internal and external audience.
3. Demanding that statesmen and public figures take practical steps to ensure prompt and efficient international response to Artsakh and protection of Artsakh.
4. The Armenian Diaspora must demand that the respective governments take practical steps to curb Azerbaijan and protect Artsakh.
5. The Artsakh Armenians must be strong and determined to ensure the temporary hardships because we have no Homeland that is a subject to concessions and humiliation."
