ArmInfo.The European University of Armenia held an official opening of the INOTEC European research laboratories.
The programme is being implemented by the founders of the European University of Armenia, particularly by the Eurac Research Centre (Italy), the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Lyon, Ecosoft and Vengrat companies (Spain).
The Ministry of High-Tech Industry of Armenia reports that the students and experts of the EUA, Ecosoft company and Eurac research center cooperated in designing about 20 devices, including fandomats. The students plan to present their first 'smart parking place' to the Yerevan Municipality.
EUA Rector Heghine Bisharyan highlighted the importance of the research laboratory in training highly qualifies personnel and developing their practical skills.
Minister of Hi-Tech Industry Robert Khachatryan participated in the opening ceremony. He highlighted the importance of laboratory courses for meeting market demands and resolving industrial problems.
"I am hopeful new ideas will be generated here, which will play an essential role in Armenia's technological progress," Mr Khachatryan said. Delegations from France, Italy, Great Britain, Germany and Spain attended the opening ceremony.
