Armenian NA speaker briefs French counterpart on consequences of  Azerbaijani aggression

ArmInfo. On November 8, the First Vice President of the French Senate Roger Karoutchi received the Vice President of the RA National Assembly Hakob Arshakyan being in Paris on a working visit.

The Vice President of the French Senate warmly welcomed his Armenian  colleague, reaffirming the solidarity of France, particularly the  Senate to Armenia and the Armenian people.

The Vice President of the RA National Assembly thanked his colleague  for the warm reception and highly appreciated the addressed,  principal and unbiased position of France during the 44-day war in  2020, as well as the September aggression and in the period following  it.

Hakob Arshakyan presented the aftermath of September 13 Azerbaijani  aggression, the invasion, the ongoing negotiation process and the  aspiration of the Azerbaijani authorities against the sovereign  territory of Armenia.

Highly assessing the revision of the resolution condemning the  Azerbaijani last aggression and the voting being designed on November  15, Hakob Arshakyan underlined the importance of substantive support,  which would promote the establishment of balance and the stable peace  in the region.

At the end of the meeting the Vice President of the RA National  Assembly invited his French colleague to Armenia.
