ArmInfo. Yerevan is ready to work with Moscow on the fundamental principles of normalizing relations with Azerbaijan, Armenia's Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan wrote in a Twitter message.
"Early this September, Armenia agreed to work on the basis of the Russia-proposed fundamental principles to establish relations with Azerbaijan. We are ready to reaffirm our position in Sochi. We hope Russia will reiterate its proposals," Mr Pashinyan wrote.
On October 26, Armenia's premier stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin had invited Armenia to hold a trilateral meeting of the Russian, Armenian and Azerbaijani leaders in Sochi, Russia, on October 31. Mr Pashinyan stressed that numerous issues the parties had to exchange their views on were on the agenda. "The agenda is well known: from ensuring peace and security in Nagorno-Karabakh to the situation on Armenia's border," he stated. Armenia's premier voiced hope for active discussions, including with President Putin.
