EU monitors in Armenia set off on their first patrol on  Armenia-Azerbaijan border

ArmInfo. EU monitors in Armenia set off on their first patrol, the EU Security Defence has reported in a Twitter message. 

"EU monitors in Armenia set off on their first patrol. For the next  two months, the EU Monitoring Capacity will monitor the situation on  the Armenian side of the Armenia-Azerbaijan border to build  confidence and to contribute to the border commissions," the message  reads. 

The 40-member EU civilian mission arrived in Armenia early this  month.
