ArmInfo. Germany would like to take part in the observer mission in Armenia and plans to offer its experts to work from November. As <Armenpress> reports with reference to RIA Novosti, a representative of the German Foreign Ministry told journalists about this.
Earlier, at a meeting in Luxembourg, the EU Foreign Ministers officially approved the dispatch of 40 observers to Armenia to monitor the situation at the border. "The Federal Government strives for Germany to participate in the observation mission in Armenia and may come up with a proposal to send experts, starting from November," said the representative of the German Foreign Ministry. According to him, the decision of who exactly will be involved in the process will be made by the leadership of the mission, depending on the specific needs.
The EU observation mission is planned for two months. The purpose of the work is to contribute to the restoration of security and stability in the region, the formation of trust and the work of commissions for delimitation and security at the border.
