Armenian Defense Ministry responds to enemy threats

ArmInfo.The presence of artillery means in the direction of Vardenis is directly related to the movement and deployment of additional forces and equipment by the  Azerbaijani Armed Forces, which caused a certain tension. This is  stated in the statement of the Armenian Defense Ministry in response  to the threats of Azerbaijan.

"The steps of the Armenian side, carried out after the deployment of  additional Azerbaijani artillery and anti- aircraft means in the  given zone, are exclusively of defensive nature.  The actions of the  Armenian side do not aim to strain the situation, and if the  Azerbaijani side withdraws the mentioned equipment from the given  direction, the Armenian side will also withdraw its. The Armenian  side is ready to negotiate on this issue," the Defense Ministry  concluded.

It should be noted that today the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan  issued a statement in which it expressed its indignation at the fact  that the Armenian armed forces gathered additional forces in their  own territory, including four artillery pieces.

"Responsibility for a possible aggravation of the situation in the  region lies entirely with the military- political leadership of  Armenia," the report says.

We add that the opposing side has lost its sanity so much that it  considers it right to interfere in the internal affairs of Armenia  and to comment on the issue of moving its own forces to its sovereign  territory.
